Student Worker - Stockroom Assistant

Purpose/Objective of the Role:Assist the Chemistry Lab Manager with inventory and supplies for teaching labs

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Receive department safety training at the start of the semester.
  1. See Dr. Grunkemeyer for details.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including those for eye protection and dress.
• You will be assisting the stockroom manager and assigned tasks may include:
• Preparing the lab rooms.
• Preparing solutions and equipment.
• Preparing unknowns.
• Disposing of waste chemicals.
• Checking, maintaining, and updating inventory lists.

Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to applicants who have successfully completed one year of CHEM 110/111 before applying for this position.
