Position Focus

What You Will Be Doing

• Meeting directly with clients to understand goals and design customized plans
• Drafting and reviewing trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
• Advising on wealth transfer strategies, estate tax considerations, and asset protection
• Handling trust administration matters from start to finish
• Assisting with elder law and long-term planning needs as they arise

The Ideal Background

• California Bar admission in good standing
• Meaningful hands-on estate planning experience with minimal ramp-up needed
• Strong drafting and written communication skills
• Comfort working directly with clients during sensitive life events
• Exposure to estate and gift tax concepts is helpful
• Experience with Forms 706 or 709 is a plus
• Special needs trust experience is welcome but not required
• Interest in building a long-term career rather than a short-term stepping stone

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary range of $150,000 to $185,000
