Summary


The Portfolio Project Manager will oversee a high-volume set of remodel projects across our real estate portfolio. This role requires exceptional project management capability, operational rigor, and the ability to drive progress across 50-70 concurrent projects. The individual will work cross-functionally with Construction, Real Estate, Strategy & Operations, and Automation teams to ensure timelines are met, issues are identified early, and risks are rapidly escalated.

As a new role within a new team, the individual will be expected to not only contribute to existing processes but also help redefine our strategic approach over time. Strong candidates will bring demonstrated experience in construction or real estate project management, operate with urgency and precision, and maintain world-class accuracy in project tracking and documentation. The goal is to deliver all assigned projects with speed, quality, and reliability.

Core Responsibilities

  • Project Execution & Timeline Management
    • Skills: project management, cross-functional communication, issue escalation
    • Manage 50-70 remodel projects simultaneously from initiation through completion.
    • Maintain tight control over timelines, sequencing, dependencies, and critical path activities.
    • Identify risks or delays and escalate immediately to leadership and cross-functional partners.
    • Coordinate with Construction and Real Estate partners to ensure site readiness, vendor alignment, and milestone adherence.
    • Ensure all steps of the project lifecycle are executed with quality and in accordance with established standards.
  • Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
    • Skills: stakeholder management, operational problem solving, collaboration
    • Serve as a key liaison across Construction, Real Estate, Strategy & Operations, and Automation teams.
    • Facilitate rapid communication loops to resolve blockers and ensure alignment on priorities.
    • Prepare status updates, summaries, and recommendations for decision-making.
    • Ensure stakeholders have clear visibility into project progress, issues, and expected delivery dates.
  • Tracker Management & Operational Accuracy
    • Skills: Excel/Google Sheets, Salesforce, documentation quality
    • Maintain robust, accurate, and up-to-date project trackers across all assigned workstreams.
    • Ensure Salesforce records are properly updated and reflect real-time project status.
    • Conduct regular audits to validate data accuracy and identify discrepancies.
    • Develop and maintain documentation that supports reporting, forecasting, and leadership visibility.
Required Qualifications
  • 4-6 years of project management experience, preferably in construction or real estate environments.
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced project portfolios.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward rapid escalation.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, Salesforce, and Slack.
  • Ability to operate with urgency, precision, and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work standard business hours with fast response times and frequent communication cycles.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Direct construction experience or the ability to interpret construction-related workstreams.
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills across technical and operational groups.
  • Experience in high-growth, ambiguous, or rapidly shifting business environments.
