Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Employment Law Attorney with a strong background in wage and hour law and class action litigation. This is a remote position, allowing for flexibility while working with a passionate team committed to making a significant impact in employment law. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished litigator with a proven track record in handling complex employment law cases and a deep understanding of the nuances of wage and hour regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in wage and hour disputes and class action lawsuits from inception through resolution.
  • Provide expert legal advice on employment law issues, including wage and hour regulations, classification, and other related matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop case strategies and arguments.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
  • Engage in negotiations, mediations, and settlements on behalf of clients.
  • Manage case files, ensuring all deadlines and court requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with clients, experts, and other attorneys to build strong cases and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Stay current with changes in employment law and legal trends to provide up-to-date advice and representation.
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment law, with a focus on wage and hour disputes and class action litigation.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and litigating complex employment law cases.
  • Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload remotely.
