Engagement Description:

• Prior authorization specialists assist with the intake of prior authorization requests, prepare cases for clinical review, and answer phone calls and inquiries from providers and pharmacies

• 2 years of retail pharmacy experience
• Computer and Microsoft office experience
• Customer Service

• Basic Pharmacy and Medical Terminology
• Pharmacy claims adjudication experience
• Knowledge of basic drug classes

• Certified Pharmacy Technician
• Knowledge of medication prior authorizations
• Help Desk experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
