We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Staff III or higher to support and lead solid waste engineering projects across California and the western U.S. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional with a strong background in civil or geotechnical engineering and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in the landfill and environmental infrastructure space.

What You'll Do:

• Project Management & Technical Execution
• Manage and execute engineering projects related to solid waste, civil infrastructure, and geotechnical design, reporting directly to the Principal Engineer
• Lead engineering analyses using advanced geotechnical software tools for design and evaluation
• Oversee field activities ,including construction quality assurance (CQA) and site observations during landfill construction and closure projects
• Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, geotechnical investigations, and construction plans and specifications
• Client Interaction & Team Collaboration
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to ensure project goals, budgets, and timelines are met
• Support proposal development and contribute to business development efforts through technical expertise and client engagement

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
• California PE license required or the ability to obtain one within a year
• Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and/or geotechnical engineering with a focus on landfill projects
• Experience with geotechnical and groundwater investigation
• Landfill expansions and closure
• Groundwater monitoring and construction oversight
• Project management and client coordination

Salary Range:

$95,000-$120,000
