Job Description:
OSP Engineer - II

Experience with Canvas/3GIS is preferred
Local exp preferred

Targeted Years of Experience: 3-5 years

Responsibilities:
• Fiber plant design, and general construction knowledge.
• Experience in telecommunications / data networking or wireless industry.
• Strong Computer Skills (Databases, Processes, and Administrative) - Comprehensive knowledge and skill for more complex applications to include Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, Google Earth, etc.
• Knowledge of the network plant and local practices.
• Experience with working application of engineering systems and databases.
• Working knowledge of right-of-way, property rights, and permit acquisition.
• May include fielding, site surveys, etc

MUST HAVE SKILLS:
Knowledge of OSP Engineering
Experience working with vendors/contracts
GIS/Drafting Skills

DESIRED SKILLS:
Proficient in 3GIS
Experience with construction drawings/asbuilts
Experience working on virtual teams

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
