divh2Grounds Maintenance Supervisor/h2pDirects grounds personnel in maintaining a functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment. Provides technical expertise in designing landscape and selecting appropriate plant material to incorporate into the Hospital Master Landscape Plan./ppEssential Functions:/pulliSupervises and directs the activities of grounds maintenance personnel. Ensures timely and efficient completion of assigned work. Maintains records and submits monthly service and quality assurance reports./liliOversees the design, installation, and maintenance of the campus landscape. Specifies plant material with seasonality in mind. Reviews major landscape proposals and makes recommendations regarding plant selection and use./liliMonitors the quality of work performed by grounds personnel, providing feedback and coaching as needed./liliDevelops and implements a number of maintenance programs. Acts as liaison between organizations for neighborhood beautification projects./liliSpecifies and coordinates the purchase of tools, equipment and materials needed for daily operations and special projects. Accountable for the operating budget./liliEnsures compliance with safety regulations and guidelines, and takes appropriate action to address any safety concerns./li/ulpEducation Requirement:/ppAssociates Degree in Horticulture or related field, preferred./ppLicensure Requirement:/ppValid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements.
