COP Operator - Clean Machine & Drive Production

Location: KDC/ONE Groveport | Full-Time Opportunity

As a COP Operator (Clean-Out-of-Place), youll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing essential parts used in compounding (mixing and batching) and filling operations. This role is behind-the-scenes but has a significant impact.

What Youll Be Doing

1. Scrub, sanitize, and maintain equipment for compounding, drop crew, and filling lines.
2. Operate cleaning machines and sanitation tools safely and confidently.
3. Keep clean and dirty zones separate and secure to prevent cross-contamination.
4. Monitor the clean room environment to help protect product integrity.
5. Support daily operations as needed.
6. Log activities accurately in SOPs, work instructions, and sanitation logs.
7. Follow all GMP and safety standards.
8. Assist where needed to ensure departmental efficiency.

What We Need from You

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. At least 6 months of prior cleaning or sanitizing experience in a manufacturing or food-grade setting preferred.
3. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, sanitation procedures, and FDA GMPs.
4. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in wet conditions, and handle hot water/cleaners.
5. Willingness to wear PPE, CIP suit, gloves, safety glasses, hairnet, and safety shoes.
