Assistant Service Manager Opportunity

Step into leadership with Morgan Properties! We're looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join our team. Your maintenance expertise and leadership skills will help create exceptional living experiences for our residents. We're seeking an Assistant Service Manager with a "whatever it takes" attitude to help keep our community running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Partner with the Service Manager to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet company standards and safety regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop your maintenance team in diagnosing and repairing issues.
• Provide expert troubleshooting across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and appliance repair.
• Help establish and manage preventive maintenance, make-ready, and on-call schedules.
• Keep maintenance inventory organized and cost-effective.
• Regularly inspect community buildings and grounds to ensure everything is in top condition.
• Jump in to complete work orders and repairs as needed.

What We'll Expect From You:

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and live within 30 minutes of the property.
• Competency with: P-Tech HVAC systems, Individual Hot Water Tanks, Copper Pipes/PEX.
• 24 years of related maintenance or technical experience.
• Working knowledge of systems such as Yardi or Mobile Maintenance (preferred).
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
