The Maintenance Technician supports engineering and maintenance operations for a functioning courthouse environment. This role performs commercial plumbing, lighting, equipment servicing, and general facilities maintenance, ensuring a clean, safe, and operational workspace. Candidates must maintain professional conduct, be comfortable working independently, and follow safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Perform basic commercial plumbing and lighting repairs.
Support general building maintenance and equipment servicing.
Review and complete work orders and preventive maintenance tasks.
Participate in brief morning meetings to review open work orders.
Maintain small to medium-sized buildings and industrial systems.
Follow safety regulations and complete required background screening.
Demonstrate professional conduct in a courthouse environment.
Required Experience
At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
Basic commercial plumbing and lighting experience (must-have skills).
Ability to work independently after initial training.
Nice-to-Have Experience
General maintenance background.
CMMS system experience.
Relevant maintenance or trade certifications (preferred but not required).
