The Professional Division of Spherion Mid-Ohio is partnered with an established and growing construction organization in Columbus, OH in seeking a Marketing Manager with a competitive salary range of $75K-$120K + Bonus being offered based on experience. Come join their team!

The Marketing Manager - will guide the organization's overall marketing direction by shaping brand visibility, supporting growth initiatives, and strengthening client engagement. This role manages digital platforms, marketing materials, and communication strategies in close collaboration with company leadership and project teams. As the first dedicated marketing hire, this individual will establish the foundation for a future department that includes proposal and business development functions. The position will play a key role in promoting multiple brands across several divisions.

Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

• Collaborate with senior leadership and preconstruction/business development teams on long-range planning and market strategy.
• Create the annual marketing plan and budget aligned with revenue and pursuit goals.
• Lead and execute all marketing initiatives, ensuring timely and effective implementation.
• Protect and strengthen brand identity by managing brand guidelines, templates, and visual assets.
• Manage the company's digital presence, including website updates and social media activity.
• Develop and deliver thought-leadership and content across print/digital collateral, articles, media releases, video, photography, and virtual tours.
• Oversee public relations efforts and coordinate with external specialists for media exposure.
• Plan and execute multi-channel promotions targeting owners, developers, and trade partners.
• Manage trade shows and industry event participation (ABC, ULI, AIA, etc.) from planning through follow-up.
• Direct creative production, including storytelling, photography, videography, and concept development.
• Select, negotiate, and manage external marketing vendors and consultants.
• Establish marketing KPIs and present performance insights to leadership.
• Represent the company in professional and community organizations (SMPS, ABC, AIA, ACEC, ULI, PWC).
• Adhere to all company safety standards.
• Ensure brand consistency in RFQs, RFPs, and presentations.
• Produce and distribute internal newsletter communications.
• Oversee jobsite signage to meet branding and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate vehicle branding needs with fleet personnel.
• Manage ordering, inventory, and distribution of branded apparel, merchandise, and company store items.
• Partner with external branding firms on specialized projects and future brand initiatives.

• Bachelor's degree + 4-7 years of experience (or 6-10 years of relevant A/E/C marketing experience without a degree)
• Proficiency in WordPress, InDesign, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, and other marketing platforms is preferred.
• Ability to stay current on marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
• Familiarity with A/E/C terminology and project delivery methods, with willingness to learn company structure and financial reporting basics.
• Strong grasp of organizational processes, client expectations, and internal guidelines.
• Effective leadership abilities, including mentoring and guiding others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to follow and act on instructions.
• Strong organization, time-management, and prioritization skills.
