As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a strong presence throughout the area. You will interact with employees and visitors, deliver outstanding customer service, and support access control measures. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, noting any unusual conditions or activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the chemical or petrochemical location.
• Communicate observations and/or incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives as required.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all patrols, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences during the shift.
• Support site-specific protocols related to hazardous materials and environmental considerations unique to chemical or petrochemical locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
