SUMMARY

An Assistant Office Manager is a highly engaged leader who possesses a high level of business acumen and is focused on developing a patient?focused, goal?oriented team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effective execution of Total Patient Experience (TPE).
  • Develop and maintain a good working relationship with doctors associated with the office location.
  • Enforce all corporate policies and procedures.
  • Motivate team members by remaining positive and communicating any changes or news supportively and constructively.
  • Assist with executing day?to?day operations of the office, including monitoring office flow, supply inventory, team member training, and other duties as assigned or needed.
  • Assist in leading the office by guiding it to success through focused support and coaching as directed by the Office Manager.
  • Handle team member and patient questions in the absence of the Office Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous medical office experience preferred; previous leadership experience strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Favorable result on background check as required by state.
  • Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED required.

LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS
  • ABO and NCLE certifications preferred but not required.

SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • This role requires a variety of physical activities to effectively perform essential job functions. The position involves frequent walking (75%), sitting (50%), and standing (50%), with regular bending, stooping, and reaching (2550%). Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs. Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands are essential, as the role demands constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology. Visual and auditory acuityincluding color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focusis required 100% of the time. Occasional driving or climbing may also be necessary.
