divh2Landscape Maintenance Technician/h2pM-F 6am-2:30pm with variable scheduling during winter months to cover snow responsibilities. Hours flexible./ppValid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines./ppMaintains a variety of spaces on the Hospital campus with an objective to provide a safe, clean, and pleasing environment./ph3Essential Functions:/h3ulliPerforms a variety of landscape and groundskeeping tasks while observing pertinent safety regulations and policies./liliOperates and maintains power equipment such as lawn mowers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and street sweepers./liliRemoves litter and debris from grounds and empties trash receptacles./liliMaintains and repairs walkways, fences, and other outdoor structures. Reports for ice and snow removal and is accountable for clearing primary areas./liliPerforms first level maintenance on gasoline and diesel equipment. Checks oil, lubricates, and makes minor repairs./liliProactive in identifying problem areas in the landscape, recommending viable solutions and carrying out steps to resolve issues./li/ulpEducation Requirement:/ppHigh School Diploma or equivalent, required./ppLicensure Requirement:/ppValid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements.
