Description:

Wilcox Communities is seeking a qualified candidate interested in joining our property management team as a Maintenance Supervisor at one of our communities in Central Ohio. The Maintenance Supervisor will be accountable for all day to day turns of apartment homes, work orders, grounds upkeep, vendor interactions, overseeing and enhancing the value of the property and having excellent customer service skills.

As a Maintenance Supervisor with Wilcox Communities your role will be a blend of:

REQUIREMENTS
  • Your Experience: Community Maintenance is nothing new to you! You have been in the industry or a similar one for at least two years and have been managing people for part of them. You demonstrate the ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate course of action.

We're looking for Associates that believe in doing the right thing, work well together, live to delight our customers, enjoy having fun at work, and are results driven. As a Home Office Administrator, you'll also have a strong desire to solve problems and be vigilant to discover items that need done.
  • Your Education: High School Graduate or GED required.
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
  • Knowledge of and adherence to Fair Housing laws.
  • General Maintenance knowledge
  • Ability to effectively convey ideas with a positive attitude and the ability to smile under all circumstances.
  • Competence in personal computer skills a must; and Entrata software preferred but will train. Microsoft Office and basic personal computer skills
  • Must be able to participate in an On-Call rotation.
  • Present self in a neat, clean, and professional manner always throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Responsible, accountable and self-motivated, qualified individuals will be able to produce results
  • Excellent understanding (or ability to quickly learn) of applicable Fair Housing laws and standards
  • Schedule is dependent on Community needs

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • DRIVER'S LICENSE: This position may require some travel therefore, you must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • BACKGROUND: You must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
  • FLSA STATUS: Full-time, non-exempt employee
  • LOCATION: Wilcox Communities - Central Ohio
  • TRAVEL: Minimal / Occasionally required
  • REPORTS TO: Community Manager
  • SALARY: Annual salary, dependent on skills and experience. Eligible for a quarterly bonus.
