Position Type: Part-Time
Average Hours: Less than 30 hours per week
Starting Wage: $19.00 per hour
Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.50, Year 3 - $20.00, Year 4 - $20.00, Year 5 - $21.00

Duties and Responsibilities:

As a valued team member, you will:

• Collaborate with colleagues and share important updates with your leader.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive documents and data.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases efficiently, keep the store clean, and stock merchandise neatly.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Provide valuable feedback on products, inventory discrepancies, and issues to management.
• Participate in regular inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize loss.

Stock Associate Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness for customers.
• Follow merchandising guidelines to create visually appealing displays.
• Organize new deliveries and manage empty packaging effectively.
• Operate machinery safely and in compliance with procedures.

Physical Demands:

• The role requires sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking throughout the store.
• Ability to stock products weighing up to 45 pounds on various heights of shelving.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Capacity to maintain cleanliness to company standards.
• Ability to understand and implement company policies and procedures.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong time management skills.
• Knowledge of company products and services.

Cashier Requirements:

• Capable of efficiently operating a cash register.
• Must comply with local regulations for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Stock Requirements:

• Must be able to safely operate equipment, including electric and manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
• Early morning availability is required for Stock Associates, with start times as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior retail experience is also preferred.
• A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge is acceptable.
