What You'll Do As a Development Paralegal you'll:
Under the general supervision of the Affordable Housing Closing Manager, assist in the development and closing of affordable housing projects for national nonprofit affordable housing developer, owner and operator.
Typical Responsibilities:
Job Specification SheetParalegal Education: Associates degree required; bachelor's degree preferred. Licensure: Paralegal Certification and/or Juris Doctor required. Experience: Three (3) years paralegal or legal experience required. Development, real estate, affordable housing finance, corporate, nonprofit, and/or government experience preferred but not required. Location: Must have the ability to work out of an office in Columbus, Ohio. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be detail-oriented with superior organizational skills. Demonstrated research and analytical skills. Collaborative skills, with the ability to work with diverse internal and external entities to accomplish project goals in a collegial and team-based setting. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous deadlines. Must have a working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and web-based applications
