VP of Accounting
This is a hybrid role in the Columbus, OH area.
Salary: $125,000-155,000

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

• Manufacturing-related industry, $20M+ revenue and growing

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE VP of Accounting ROLE:

• Oversee accounting and finance operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, tax preparation, and audits.
• Prepare timely financial analyses, summaries, and reports, including cash flow projections and monthly Board reports.
• Direct the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
• Compare sales and profit projections to actual figures and adjust budgets as needed.
• Improve or replace ERP software to ensure strong financial controls.
• Develop and oversee purchasing strategy and inventory management.
• Perform risk management and evaluate/manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives.
• Manage finance personnel and oversee financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with regulations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF THE VP of Accounting ROLE:

• Minimum Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred
• 10+ years in financial leadership roles
• Strong Leadership and Management Abilities Required
