Commercial Front Load Refuse Driver-3rd Shift. Department:Administration and Planning | FOD Operations Sustainability. The Front Load Refuse Driver is responsible for the collection and removal of solid waste, recyclables, litter, and bulk trash across campus. Duties include operating trucks, tractors, backhoes, skid steers, dump trucks, and other equipment to ensure efficient waste management. Specific responsibilities include:Operating front-load and rear-load trash trucks, skid steers, and dump trucks for waste and recycling removal. Loading open-top boxes with skid steer equipment. Placing front-load dumpsters at designated campus locations. Training employees on the operation of rear and front-load trucks and safety procedures. Assisting with the assembly of front-load trash dumpsters. Serving as team leader in the absence of a supervisor and supervising student staff or temporary workers as needed.
