We are hiring dock workers to join our team, responsible for manually loading and unloading cargo, inspecting shipments for accuracy and damage, organizing goods in designated areas, and maintaining a clean and safe dock environment. Candidates should be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy loads, attentive to detail, and committed to following safety procedures. strong teamwork and communication skills are essential, and while prior dock or warehouse experience is preferred, training will be provided
salary: $18 - $19 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 10 AM - 6:30 PM
education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
- Lift, carry, and move cargo by hand or with basic tools (dollies, hand trucks).
- Safely stack and arrange goods to prevent damage.
- Assist drivers and ship crews with positioning cargo for transfer.
- Place goods in designated dock or warehouse areas.
- Keep walkways clear to ensure safe movement.
- Maintain orderly stacking to maximize space.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying loads up to 50 pounds
