Pharmacy Technician

Our company, SpecialtyRx, is a long-term care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Pharmacist In Charge and Floor Manager with daily functions.
• Experience working controlled drugs (narcotics) room.
• Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications in a timely manner.
• Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package fill and ship medications.
• Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.
• Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Shift: 6pm-2:30am Monday-Friday and every other weekend.

Qualifications:

• Licensed OH pharmacy technician required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Frameworks/ECM knowledge a plus.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.
