Job Details

We are looking for an experienced commercial cleaner / janitor / custodian to be a lead cleaner and floater. We are a looking for a rock star worker that is willing to do what it takes. Must be hungry and ready to prove yourself.

Shift Days: Monday - Friday with some Saturday / Sunday work

Shift Time: Shift will vary. Overtime will be available.

The Lead Cleaner / Floater will assist the Operations Manager to help clean various accounts in the Columbus area including Columbus, Powell, Marysville, Dublin, Johnstown, East Liberty, Groveport, Canal Winchester, and other areas in the Columbus and central Ohio area.

This job requires travel in the area, so you must have a good reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to new accounts everyday. You will be compensated for travel expenses.

You will be cleaning accounts that need extra staff. You will also be cleaning when cleaners are on vacation, call in sick or need time off. You will play a key role in cleaning new accounts.

Required:

• 3 years of experience as a commercial cleaner / janitor / custodian
• Willingness to work evening shifts, flexible hours and occasional weekends
• Availability and ability to work 50 hours a week.
• Experience in floor care, stripping/waxing, carpet cleaning, etc.
• Great attitude and work ethic
• Ability to communicate with cleaners and management
• Ability to travel in the area. Reliable vehicle with drivers license with good driving record

Preferred but not required

• 5 years of experience as a janitor, cleaner, and/or custodian
• Experienced with Window Cleaning
• Increased pay available for bilingual Spanish / English
