Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Schedule: On-site

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive sales of company products and services.
  • Understand customers' technical needs and provide tailored solutions that meet those requirements.
  • Design components in Autodesk Inventor which would involve converting some older AutoCAD 2D drawings into newer 3D models.
  • Explaining complex technical information to customers in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and sales teams to ensure the technical feasibility of proposed solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process.
  • Updating records of customer communications and relevant opportunity information.
  • Following up with customers and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Develop a knowledge of competing products and services.



Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Drafting, a related field or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in AutoDesk Inventor, CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of technical products and services.
  • Ability to review, analyze and understand project specifications, project drawings, and project designs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
