Position: Seasonal Facilities Technician

Location: Groveport, OH

Pay: $32 to $40/hour (depending on experience)

Experience:

1. 2 to 3+ years of hands-on experience in distribution center facilities maintenance, conveyor, automation, and MHE maintenance.
2. 1+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.

Type: Full-time; Temporary (Seasonal Position, contract ends in January)

Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday, 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM

Job Description:

1. Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track equipment inventory and schedule preventive maintenance.
2. Perform monthly maintenance and safety inspections, responding quickly to any emergency situations.
3. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all aspects of material handling systems, including relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components such as photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers, and encoders.
4. Diagnose electrical and electronic control systems using test equipment and other diagnostic tools.
5. Assemble and install material handling equipment, including drive motors, gearboxes, belts, gravity conveyors, and platforms.
6. Support general building upkeep through daily perimeter inspections and minor repairs.

Position Requirements:

1. 2 to 3+ years of hands-on experience in distribution center facilities maintenance, conveyor, automation, and MHE maintenance.
2. 1+ years of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles.
3. Basic understanding of schematics, plans, and blueprints.
4. Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures.
5. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills.
6. Ability to meet attendance requirements.
7. Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
8. Must be 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
9. Must have reliable transportation.
10. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
11. Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
