Position Summary
The Patient Care Trainer at Gifthealth is responsible for designing, implementing, and conducting training programs for patient care staff. This role focuses on ensuring that all staff members are proficient in their duties, adhere to company standards, and comply with regulatory requirements. The Patient Care Trainer will also provide ongoing education and support to foster continuous improvement and professional development among patient care staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and conduct engaging training sessions focused on patient interaction, communication, and care procedures to ensure excellent patient service.
- Design and update training curricula and materials to reflect the latest in healthcare practices and patient care standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, making adjustments to optimize learning outcomes.
- Support ongoing education and certification requirements for healthcare staff.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and patient-centered care among team members.
- Maintain records of training activities and monitor the progress of participants.
Qualifications
- Proven instructional and facilitation skills with a focus on healthcare or patient care.
- Strong understanding of patient care processes and the healthcare environment.
- Ability to communicate complex information effectively to a diverse audience.
- Experience in developing training materials and programs in a healthcare setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare, with at least 1 year in a training or educational role.
Work Environment
- Location: Hybrid
- Schedule: Full-time
- May require additional availability or flexibility for escalations.
- Regular meetings with teams, departments, or leadership to ensure alignment.
