Construction Inspector

Location: On-site in Columbus, OH Start your career in construction & telecom! Our client is hiring entry-level OSP Field Inspectors to support fiber optic build projects in Columbus. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to break into the construction or telecommunications industry. You'll receive guidance and mentorship while gaining hands-on experience in the field.

What You'll Do:

• Travel to active construction sites to observe and document progress
• Take notes and photos of fiber optic builds and report findings to the office team
• Work closely with construction crews and learn how fiber networks are built
• Use a tablet to record data and follow instructions from project managers
• Help ensure projects stay on track and meet quality standards

What We're Looking For:

• 1+ year of experience in any construction-related role (landscaping, general labor, etc. counts!)
• Interest in learning about fiber optics, telecom, and outside plant (OSP) infrastructure
• Comfortable using a tablet or smartphone for documentation
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between sites

Nice to Have:

• Degree or coursework in Construction Management or related field
• Previous exposure to fiber, coax, or cable work
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Job Type & Location:

This is a contract position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
