The Opportunity

We're looking for a Cashier who is friendly, reliable, and customer-focused. As the face of our stores, you'll ensure every guest has a positive shopping experience while supporting the vital mission of Goodwill.

What You'll Do

• Greet and assist customers in a prompt, courteous manner (in person and by phone)
• Operate the register to process transactions accurately, including discounts
• Promote Goodwill's "Change Round Up" program to fuel community impact
• Keep the checkout area and front of store clean and organized
• Bag and wrap merchandise with care
• Assist with merchandise displays, stocking, and returns to the sales floor
• Support store promotions, signage, and seasonal campaigns
• Contribute to store safety, security, and team goals
• Provide support in training new cashiers as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous retail or cashier experience is a plus (6 months preferred)
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 lbs. regularly
• Reliable transportation and commitment to a drug-free workplace
