Senior .NET Web Application Developer (Software Development Specialist 4)
Senior .NET Web Application Developer will be part of a small, collaborative team supporting multiple applications within ODJFS/OIS using .NET and MVC development. The role involves both enhancing existing production applications and developing new solutions within an Agile project management framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily stand‑ups, collaborate with team members, maintain documentation, and engage with various departments to gather requirements and provide technical support.
- Work closely with Architecture staff and IT Managers to design and implement solutions that align with business needs.
- Mentor and support other technical staff, offering guidance on complex issues.
- Perform code reviews and ensure agency application development standards are met.
- Serve as a technical lead as assigned.
- Provide post‑production support for applications of varying size, scope, and impact, including support for load balancing, failover, and clustering.
Work Schedule
Full‑time, Monday through Friday. Hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Travel
Occasional travel within the state of Ohio.
Qualifications
Option 1- 60 months experience in solutions design, project planning, or leading meetings for computer applications.
- 12 months experience in MS .NET Environment (e.g., C#, Visual Studio, Azure, .NET Core, MVC).
Option 2- 42 months experience in solutions design, project planning, or leading meetings for computer applications.
- 12 months experience in MS .NET Environment.
- Completion of an Associate's core program in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Option 3- 36 months experience in solutions design, project planning, or leading meetings for computer applications.
- 12 months experience in MS .NET Environment.
- Completion of an undergraduate core program in Computer Science or Information Systems.
Or equivalent of minimum class qualifications noted above.
Pay
This position is in the State of Ohio's OCSEA Pay Schedule, Pay Range 36. Starting salary will be the minimum salary of that pay range (step 1, currently $44.66 per hour). Pay increases with step progression.
