What You'll Do

As a Salesforce Administrator, you will assist with maintenance and administration of our Salesforce system and gather business requirements for system changes. You will be responsible for business process documentation, project planning, and implementation. You will interact with various teams to continuously enhance our Salesforce system, collect system specifications, implement changes, and coordinate with development teams. You will also test and deploy Salesforce changes.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Assist in the administration and configuration of the Salesforce platform to meet business needs
  • Perform daily system maintenance
  • Support testing and deployment of new features and updates
  • Implement approved changes and coordinate with development teams
  • Monitor system performance and usage
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations and business processes
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business operations
  • Monitor and manage exception logs related to system integrations
  • Monitor user activity and provide guidance to individuals or groups requiring additional assistance

Schedule

Full‑time. Standard workdays Monday through Friday. Hours 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Travel

Occasional travel within the state of Ohio.

The Ideal Candidate, At Minimum, Must Have

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 4 years of combined work experience in evaluating IT processes, recommending changes, and evaluating hardware/software solutions, with at least 2 years of technology‑related work experience as specified by the agency position description
  • Experience with Salesforce administration preferred (optional but likely required)

Pay Information

Pay Schedule: State of Ohio OCSEA Pay Range 35. Minimum salary step 1 $40.59 per hour. (Additional steps and annual equivalents omitted for brevity.)
