Job Summary

Senior Sales Engineer to join a stable startup focused on technical aspects of a SaaS offering. Salary range $100,000 – $150,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, provide technical expertise, and support deal closures.
  • Develop and present customized demonstrations of our products and services to potential clients, showcasing how our solutions can meet their specific needs.
  • Create and maintain Docker images for our software products.
  • Use design tools to create engaging visuals for presentations and proposals.
  • Provide pre‑sales technical support, including responding to RFPs, conducting product demonstrations, and delivering technical presentations to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Act as a bridge between the sales team and the engineering team, translating customer needs into technical requirements.
  • Provide post‑sales support, including troubleshooting issues, providing technical guidance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and competitive products to continuously improve our sales strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar pre‑sales or solutions engineer role, preferably in the tech services industry.
  • Proven experience with Java, SaaS, Docker images, and design tools.
  • Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a knack for building strong relationships with customers.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and prospects.
