Day to Day

The Glassdoor Data Platform team's mission is to drive the potential of data forward within Indeed and Glassdoor by creating shared infrastructure and platform components that teams can leverage to innovate data pipelines, ML pipelines/models, power dashboards, analytics, and much more. We own Glassdoor's data infrastructure and platform components, including the warehouse, streaming, orchestration, data quality, and observability.

As an engineer on the team, you'd contribute to removing technical barriers to entry for teams across Glassdoor to enable a data-driven culture. This work will provide an opportunity to leverage cutting-edge technologies while learning about all the ways data and AI are used to help people get jobs.

Responsibilities

• Develop features for our suite of data platform services
• Collaborate effectively with other engineers and cross-functional partners
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality
• Learn about data infrastructure, platforms, tools, and how to use them

Skills/Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics
• 1+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Familiarity with AWS, Node.js and/or Python
• Passion to learn and develop new skills continuously

Salary Range Transparency

Austin 90,000 - 130,000 USD per year

San Francisco 111,000-161,000 USD per year

Seattle 104,000-150,000 USD per year

New York City Metro 111,000-161,000 USD per year

Scottsdale 90,000-130,000 USD per year

US Remote- 90,000-130,000 USD per year

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), a Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
