Based in Columbus, the DaNite Sign Company team designs, fabricates, and installs signage packages for local, regional, and national companies. We are looking for a Senior Sign Designer with advanced industrial design experience and fabrication/construction knowledge to bring our clients' small‑scale ideas to life.

Job Description

This full‑time position is for an experienced Senior Sign Designer responsible for creating visually impactful and effective signage solutions across a wide range of applications, from complex, large‑scale environmental and architectural signage systems to simple, straightforward projects.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Combine artistic creativity with industrial and engineering expertise, demonstrating technical proficiency in design software and a strong understanding of industrial design principles, materials, and construction processes
• Consult with our sales team to understand the client's needs, preferences, budgets, project timeline, and city permitting requirements
• Produce final layouts and detailed technical drawings for fabrication and installation at a level of accuracy and completeness suitable for engineer review, approval, and sealing
• Conduct site visits (as needed) to assess signage placement and installation requirements
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure designs are fabricated correctly
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
• Stay informed about new technologies and materials in sign production

Compensation

Job type: Full‑time

Pay: $55,000 – $65,000 per year

• Are you proficient in CorelDRAW and have a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite? Freehand 3D sketching skills to clearly communicate design concepts is a plus
