The IT BSA1 will join the eWarrants application team and be primarily responsible for the functional data conversion effort for each criminal justice agency. DPS technical personnel will export the data from state-owned systems and provide it to the IT BSA1 to use in comparison to the data owned and maintained by the local law enforcement entities. The IT BSA1 will then work directly with DPS staff and law enforcement or court personnel across the state to research and resolve data issues. Any actual changes that need to be made to the data will be done by authorized personnel only. The cleaned data will then be imported into eWarrants during go live. This is a repeatable process for each individual court and law enforcement entity in an Ohio county.
As a secondary responsibility, the IT BSA1 will become an eWarrants SME and assist existing team members in developing business process flows that support a court or law enforcement entity's unique way of doing business; participate in the rollout of eWarrants including overseeing the entire data conversion effort and data readiness upon go live.
Finally, the position does require about 20% travel throughout the State of Ohio in a DPS owned vehicle. The IT BSA1 must have some flexibility, with advanced notice, to travel by car to various locations. This could entail working beyond a standard eight-hour day (all time including travel time is chargeable; gas in the DPS owned vehicle to be paid for by the State; per diems are not offered).
During the interview process with the ODPS staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource's experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror's proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance. Resource will have a background check conducted by ODPS.
