Let us be the best place you'll ever work.**A Brief Overview** The Configuration Engineer will be a member of the Digital Workplace Team and will be responsible for end user deployment configurations and support. They will focus on the design, deployment and management of the SCCM infrastructure, creating software deployment packages/updates and applying best practices for Safelite's end user.**What you will do*** Create and manage software deployment packages and updates 35%* Build, maintain, and support a base image for workstations including but not limited to OS, drivers and software packages utilized by all business partners. – 15%* Provides periodical desktop, software, and peripheral support by performing troubleshooting, root cause analysis and problem resolution without supervision – 15%* Deploy and implement SCCM policies, procedures and best practices – 15%* Collaborate with other teams and vendors to develop and implement new solutions to meet business requirements, Documentation – 15%* Provides after hours support as needed – 5%**Education Qualifications*** Bachelor's Degree bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience Required**Experience Qualifications*** 4-6 years SCCM engineer Required* 1-3 years customer service experience Required* 4-6 years' experience providing application support in complex business environments, including a mix of SaaS, Hybrid and On-premise installations Required* 1-3 years' experience working in business critical environments Required**Skills and Abilities*** Excellent verbal and written communication skills (High proficiency)* Proven troubleshooting abilities (High proficiency)* Passion for investigating and solving customer problems, using advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills / toolsets (High proficiency)* Ability to administer JAMF Pro Cloud Server for the management and deployment of applications to all Apple devices (Low proficiency)* Experience provisioning and supporting virtual desktops (Low proficiency)* Ability to administer and troubleshoot Microsoft workplace applications (High proficiency)* Basic understanding of certificates and certificates issued by authorities (Medium proficiency)* Familiarity with ITSM systems like ServiceNow or others (Low proficiency)* A solid understanding of PowerShell, SQL, and other basic scripting and query languages (High proficiency)* Experience with Qualys Platform (High proficiency)This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by an employee occupying this position.
