The Manager, CDM manages all chargemaster activities and is responsible for the performance and effectiveness of the department. The Manager implements short- and long-term plans and objectives to ensure timely resolution of CDM requests and CDM owned edits in various HIS, ensures compliant charge capture practices, ensures timely claims filing, and reduces denials. The role includes collaboration with all Revenue Cycle departments to manage DNFB and with clinical departments on accurate charge capture processes. The Manager empowers staff to develop process improvements, set priorities, conduct performance assessments, implement improvements, and maintain gains. Standards of behavior and performance for the department are set based on Ensemble Difference principles.
