Physical Security Systems Analyst

Contract Duration: 12+ months, 11/17/2025-11/16/2026
Pay Rate: $35-55/hr depending on experience
Overview
We are a Chicago-based African American owned IT consulting and staffing firm, founded in 2007, that delivers enterprise integration, implementation, and support services across government, financial services, public utilities, and more. We partner with Big 4 SI partners and provide solutions such as CRM, ERP, PMO, and QA.
Responsibilities
- System implementation & upgrades
- Assist in deployment and replacement of end‑of‑life security equipment including cameras and access control systems
- Provide technical support & troubleshooting for physical security systems
- Maintain and update system standards, documentation, and configuration records
- Support testing and evaluation of new physical security technologies
- Conduct equipment audits and ensure proper labeling of physical security assets
- Contribute to reporting on system health and project status
- Collaborate with internal teams to support project execution and system alignment
- Assist in optimizing alarm configurations to reduce false alerts
- Liaise with vendors and manufacturers for support, warranty claims, and training
- Develop quick reference guides and training materials for internal teams
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 4+ years of experience in physical security systems, including access control and video surveillance
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise‑grade security platforms such as Victor VMS and CCure 9000
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Must work on a W2
