Overview

Modjeski and Masters, Inc is seeking a Regional Director with experience in Ohio Department of Transportation projects.

As the Ohio Regional Director, your responsibilities include pursuing new business to expand our presence in Ohio, engaging directly with clients, participating in marketing efforts, managing and delivering projects, building and leading a team of engineers, and managing the Ohio Regional Business Unit. This position reports directly to the President or an assigned officer.

Qualifications

• Meet Level 2 Bridge Design requirements per Ohio Department of Transportation standards
• Registered Professional Engineer (Ohio)
• 15 years of bridge design experience
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Strong operational and project management skills
• Established relationships with regional bridge/highway owners, engineers, and contractors
• Experience with traditional and alternative project delivery methods
• Understanding of project development and marketing processes
• Ability to develop labor estimates responsibly
• Effective coordination with multiple engineering disciplines, clients, and subconsultants
• Comprehensive technical engineering knowledge, including codes, specifications, and current research

Responsibilities

• Manage and communicate the operations of the Ohio Regional Business Unit effectively
• Secure work and establish staffing for the Ohio Regional Business Unit
• Pursue projects for the Ohio Regional Business Unit
• Participate in marketing efforts to benefit the unit and company
• Oversee project management and delivery within the Ohio Regional Business Unit
• Support the professional development of staff
