Our nationally recognized Central Ohio client is seeking a Director of Software Engineering. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities
Provide overall leadership of a multi-product, multi-technology functional or technology area
Oversee projects that adhere to continuous delivery practices with automated unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing pipelines
Provide technical leadership in terms of architecting applications, mentoring developers, making smart technology decisions, and more
Contribute to company's roadmap and internal ideas, while creating a world-class engineering team
Coach managers and individual contributors within the team, ensure training and development plans are in place for all team members
Perform load capacity planning with the software program managers to define resourcing needs while following through on relevant hiring and up-skilling of existing staff
Stay abreast on the latest innovations in software development processes, languages, and front/back-end technologies to ensure the company remains cutting-edge
Qualifications
8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with demonstrated people management
Experience defining and executing enterprise content and digital transformation management strategies
Proven ability to deliver strategic digital capabilities across multiple online platforms
Strong Technical problem-solving
High energy capable of influencing others
