Overview

Looking for an experienced Tax Preparer and Bookkeeper for a growing CPA firm in the Columbus area (Polaris Parkway). Ideal candidate will have experience in preparing year end tax returns for individual and small business clients. That would include taking both individual and business tax returns from start to completion. This position will also have monthly financial reporting and bookkeeping duties for a number of our small business clients. Current software package is Drake Zero, Intuit ProConnect, QuickBooks online and Citrix Sharefile. This position does have flexibility of schedule and the possibility to work remote or in office. Looking for a positive individual who will be an asset to the team. Growth opportunities could arise as the firm continues to increase in size. CPA license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year end tax returns for individual and small business clients from start to completion.
• Perform monthly financial reporting and bookkeeping duties for multiple small business clients.
• Utilize Drake Zero, Intuit ProConnect, QuickBooks Online and Citrix ShareFile.
• Support flexible scheduling with potential remote or in-office work arrangements.
• Contribute to team success and potential growth opportunities as the firm expands.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing year end tax returns for individuals and small business clients.
• Bookkeeping experience for small business clients.
• Proficiency with Drake Zero, Intuit ProConnect, QuickBooks Online and Citrix ShareFile.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
