We are currently expanding our engineering team and seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to contribute to our mission.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Java Full Stack Developer with a proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying robust, scalable, and secure applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across the full software development life cycle, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and database interactions. While strong technical skills are paramount, a significant advantage will be given to candidates with a background in the banking or financial services industry, understanding the unique challenges and regulatory requirements of this sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure full-stack applications using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define, scope, and implement new features and enhancements.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions, promoting scalable and resilient system designs.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of professional experience in Java Full Stack development.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Hibernate, JPA).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git).
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Experience (Highly Desirable)

• Previous experience in the Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech industry.
• Understanding of financial products, trading systems, regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS), and data security best practices in a financial context.
• Experience with real-time data processing and high-volume transaction systems.
• Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
