Role Description

The Program Director DODD role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area. The Program Director will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of programs for individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) regulations, supervising staff, creating individualized care plans, and maintaining high standards of service delivery. The Program Director will collaborate with team members, families, and community organizations to optimize program outcomes and foster a positive environment for both individuals and staff.

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and management skills, including staff supervision and team collaboration.
  • Experience in program development, compliance with DODD regulations, and service delivery for individuals with disabilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills, problem‑solving capabilities, and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with staff, families, and community partners.
  • Knowledge of person-centered care and experience in creating individualized care plans.
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred), and prior management experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with the Columbus area and the needs of local communities is a plus.
