Description:

Fitness Trainer

PT, Benefits Eligible, 24 hours a week, 1-2 mornings (6 or 6:30 am-1:00 pm), 2-3 days (11:00 am- 6 pm)

Designs and implements personalized fitness plans to improve the physical health and wellbeing of employees who are members of the Wellness Center.

Essential Functions:

  • Designs and implements personalized fitness plans for employees.
  • Conducts fitness assessments to evaluate employee fitness levels.
  • Provides guidance and support to employees to help them achieve their fitness goals.
  • Develops and leads group fitness classes for employees.
  • Monitors employee progress and adjusts fitness plans as needed.
  • Educates employees on proper exercise techniques and injury prevention.

Education Requirement: High School Diploma, required.

Licensure Requirement: (not specified)

Certifications:

  • NCCA Accredited Certification for Personal Training such as: NASM, ACE, NSCA, ACSM, or ISSA, required.
  • CPR Certification, required.
  • Group Fitness Certification, preferred.

Experience: 3 years' experience with personal training, required.
