About the Role

We're seeking a Workday Platform Administrator to take full ownership of a growing organization's HR and Finance platform. You'll manage and evolve the Workday environment to support everything from talent management and payroll to core HCM and finance processes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating business requirements into elegant system solutions, takes pride in being the go-to person for platform strategy, and has a strong sense of ownership when it comes to uptime, usability, and user experience.

What You'll Do

Platform Management & Support

Configure, enhance, and maintain the Workday platform (modules, integrations, security, reporting)

Manage release cycles, perform regression testing, and own all change documentation

Troubleshoot and resolve escalated platform issues with support from internal teams and Workday

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with HR, Finance, and Operations teams to translate business needs into system features

Create dashboards, reports, and custom functionality that improve efficiency and insight

Ensure platform changes are communicated clearly and adopted smoothly by end users

Governance & Optimization

Enforce data integrity and compliance standards across modules and workflows

Drive continuous improvement through best practices in system configuration and support

Monitor platform performance and anticipate needs as the organization scales

What You Bring

3-5+ years of experience supporting Workday OR similar enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UKG, ADP Workforce Now, etc.)

Hands-on knowledge of at least two modules within Workday or comparable systems

Strong analytical skills, ability to dig into business problems and translate into technical solutions

Experience with configuration, reporting tools, calculated fields, and integrations (Workday Studio, EIB, RaaS a plus)

Excellent documentation, training, and user support skills

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, HR, Business, or equivalent experience

Bonus Points

Workday certifications (HCM, Payroll, Integration)

Experience in enterprise settings (1,000+ employees)

  • Familiarity with release/change management, especially in SaaS platforms

Top Workday skills/knowledge: Integration of security domains

Workday Studio and/or Workday Extend

Current modules: HCM Core, Expenses, Learning, Recruiting, People Analytics, Adv. Comp.
