About the Role

The agency is on the hunt for a dynamic Senior Vice President (SVP) for Client Services in the biotech arena. You will play a critical role in advancing our mission to connect people to optimal health. In this influential position, you will lead strategic vision, operational excellence, and business growth across a diverse portfolio of biotech clients. As a trusted advisor to C-suite executives, you will lead high-performing cross-functional teams to design integrated communications strategies that include scientific storytelling, navigating regulatory milestones, engaging investors and stakeholders, and managing product lifecycle communications.

Your responsibilities will also encompass overseeing a substantial book of business, ensuring profitability, and spearheading new business opportunities both within and outside the biotech sector. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in communications, life sciences, or a related field, with at least 20 years of robust experience in healthcare communications, specifically within biotech and life sciences.

You must possess a proven track record of managing and growing a significant portfolio of business, coupled with a deep understanding of the biotech landscape. Exceptional leadership, communication, and client service skills are essential. You should excel at managing large, matrixed teams and have a solutions-oriented mindset that promotes collaboration and innovation across the organization.

Strong leadership in strategic scaling, a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and the ability to embody the company's values are crucial. As the SVP, you will contribute to shaping the strategic direction of the biotech practice and the agency as a whole, while also leading or supporting various agency-wide initiatives.
