Job Description:
Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Project Engineer to join our National Mission Critical team!
Do you bring at least 2+ years of successful commercial construction experience in a design-build environment? Do you enjoy working in a fast, fun, inclusive and collaborative work space? Some things you can expect to do:
- Develop a working understanding of budgets, schedules, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, change orders and other management tools.
- Assume responsibility and communicate effectively with all internal and external customers.
- Support Project Managers and Superintendents with various project related tasks.
- Assist in Owner change pricing; prepare billings and review invoices.
- Monitor assigned subcontracts, subcontractor schedules relative to material deliveries and subcontractor manpower.
- Travel as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Management or related field
- 2+ years of experience in commercial construction
- Willingness to travel as needed to execute projects
- Read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding systems.
- Have knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control and material pricing
- Have experience in Construction Management Software (i.e. Procore)
- Design-build commercial construction experience
- Have process proven knowledge of complex mission critical MEP systems.
- Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
