Description:

Our client, a leading organization in the aviation support industry, is seeking a Customer Account Services Representative (Billing Specialist) to join their team. As a Billing Specialist, you will be part of the Customer Support Department supporting the billing and accounts receivable team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Billing Specialist

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: $20 per hour

Duration: 6 months

What's the Job?

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to billing and accounts receivable

  • Review large accounts proactively and resolve issues before billing occurs

  • Handle tasks such as consolidated invoicing and uploading invoices into customer systems

  • Monitor account credits and ensure timely posting

  • Generate monthly statements and assist in collecting overdue balances

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma required; associates or bachelor's degree in business preferred

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in customer support or billing roles

  • Experience with SAP or similar systems is preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical skills to reconcile data and analyze variances
