Clerical Assistant

AtWork Staffing is seeking detail-oriented and organized Clerical Assistants in Columbus and surrounding areas. This position is ideal for individuals who are professional, dependable, and have strong communication and computer skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer phones, take messages, and direct calls as needed
• Greet visitors and provide assistance
• Perform data entry, filing, copying, and scanning
• Prepare, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
• Maintain organized and accurate records and files
• Assist with scheduling, calendar management, and appointment setting
• Use office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and email platforms
• Provide general support to management and staff
• Other administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Previous clerical or office experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
