Our client, a leading organization in the technical systems industry, is seeking a Project Manager/Product Owner to join their team. As a Project Manager/Product Owner, you will be part of the product management team supporting cross-functional initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong stakeholder management abilities, and a proactive approach to delivering value through technology, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Project Manager I
Location: Columbus, OH
Pay Range: $20-25/hr
What's the Job?
- Own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for a core enterprise technical system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, UX, and business stakeholders
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria
- Prioritize features and enhancements based on business value and technical feasibility
- Lead sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a large enterprise environment
- Proven ability to manage and evolve complex technical systems
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management
- Experience with tools like Azure DevOps or other product analytics platforms
