Summary


The Sales Administrator is a vital part of the High Bank Distillery team, driving brand growth by leveraging data, fostering relationships, and ensuring seamless operations both in Ohio and beyond. This role is responsible for coordinating with the Ohio Liquor Control (OHLQ), managing agency partnerships, supporting on-premise accounts, and overseeing out-of-state compliance, all while promoting High Banks award-winning spirits. The ideal candidate is energized by the craft spirits industry, thrives in a dynamic environment, and excels at turning data into actionable strategies.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities



  • Uncover exciting trends by collecting and analyzing on-premise and off-premise sales data to fuel High Banks sales strategy.

  • Coordinate vibrant tastings with OHLQ to showcase our premium spirits to eager audiences.

  • Deliver compelling, data-driven insights to sales teams and leadership through engaging presentations.

  • Drive strategic retail expansion with sharp, data-backed recommendations.

  • Manage agency permissions and restrictions to keep our spirits flowing smoothly.

  • Build dynamic relationships with agency store owners to amplify High Banks brand presence.

  • Arrange unforgettable tastings with agency store partners to boost visibility.

  • Secure eye-catching in-store displays to make our spirits the star of the show.

  • Forge strong connections with on-premise accounts to keep High Bank spirits pouring with pride.

  • Out-of-State Operations: Oversee compliance and operational processes for out-of-state markets with precision and flair.


Competencies



  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data and compliance tasks.

  • Familiarity with alcohol regulatory processes and a knack for navigating them.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to connect with partners and accounts.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Work Environment


The work environment can be dynamic and occasionally loud, particularly during events or tastings. There may be exposure to hazards such as hot surfaces, liquids, or slippery floors in distillery or event settings.


Physical Demands


The employee may need to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and stoop during events or tastings. The position requires the ability to use arms, hands, and fingers to handle materials and equipment. The role may involve lifting up to 50-75 lbs on a consistent basis, such as moving event materials or product displays.


Position Type / Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position with an average of 40-45 hours per week. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support tastings and events.


Travel


Potential travel to regional territories may be required to support events or partnerships.


Other Requirements



  • A full background check and drug screening may be required.
